Dean Jordan hopes to change the face of planning with his London-based Planning and Development Consultancy, DARA Planning. Founded in 2023, DARA Planning is committed to modernising the planning process through innovative technological advancements and a commercially minded, client-focused approach. 

Dean has over 14 years of experience in Town and Country Planning, the majority of which was at DP9 where his focus was on large-scale mixed-use developments, such as the Battersea Power Station masterplan, Bishopsgate Good Yard, and Station Hill Reading. In 2021, he moved to BYM Capital, where he was brought in to head up the planning and development team. Here, he focused on acquiring assets, strategic partnerships and managing the planning process to secure deliverable exits. In 2023, Dean saw an opportunity in the market. Noticing the challenges facing the planning world, including a poor economic climate, DARA Planning was created with a key ethos of understanding the development process and client needs, unlike the sole policy-driven advice often offered.

DARA Planning is a commercially minded planning consultancy operating across London, offering an extended scope of services, combining Planning and Development Management. DARA works closely with consultant teams and local authorities to ensure consent for projects which are genuinely deliverable.
